If you’re one of those people that takes life a little too seriously, I hope you find and heal your inner child, calm your mind a little more and play a little more.
We were all children at one point, and, quite frankly, I still feel like a child in an adult’s body. I’m currently working on my inner child, which has a lot to do with our current lives, if it’s in shambles or things are happening in your life, or you’re afraid of judgement or getting out there and being seen. Our inner child is a huge part of our life, for the rest of our lives. Pay attention to the playfulness you want to express, if you ignore it, you’re just hiding away. You’re not meant to hide. We all want to be seen. There is no reason for any of us not to be able to express our true identity, our playful sides. I find that the more you work on your inner child, the more life becomes care free, fun, playful and way more adventurous. Life isn’t all about serious poker faces and suits suffocating your neck, that you SO cannot wait to take off when you get home. Or those damn sexy heels that are so gorgeous, but don’t provide any actual support for your feet. I bet you can’t wait to take those puppies off at days end! Thank goodness I work in running shoes…
Do whatever you can that let’s you play more. I absolutely love playing in nature, going barefoot and dancing in the serene wilderness with my crazy dogs. I even hug trees, examine bugs, pick out rocks for my home patio, jump across muddy hills over little streams of water. It’s wondrous. I don’t think I’m able to have children so why not be and express my own child at heart and live life to the freakin’ fullest? If you have kids, I truly hope you play with them. Get lost in the finger painting, the Play-Doh mushing, the sandpit castles and everything else.
So, all I feel I need to say to you today is, be a child, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. This is your life. If you get judged, the person judging envy’s that part of you that you are able to show and express. The people that judge, they are missing that part of them that they see in you, so embrace it. Maybe you could be an influence that someone needed to see.
Run free, be free, play freely. Xx
