The gift of giving. The art of receiving. It’s a beautiful feeling to experience when we either give or receive. There’s something that brings a little tickle to my heart when I give a gift to another human. When things tickle my heart, it just makes the day so much better and things always seem to fall right into place afterwards. The even better part, is when I then receive something out of the blue, from the Universe, and that is because I gave.
The more you keep giving, the more and more you receive. It’s one of the greatest laws of the Universe, it has to come to fruition once you give something to another human, organization, so forth. Usually when you do give something it comes back tenfold, which is even better. With all of this being said though, don’t give just because you want something in return. You have to want to give something out of the goodness in your heart. Giving usually feels good anyways so it’s pretty easy, all of the time. Even if you have 5 dollars left to your name, and you see someone in rags who looks like they could use a sandwich or a hot beverage, buy them that sandwich and donut and BOOM. The Universal laws have no way but to reward you with a gift for yourself. Now it may not happen the same day or as soon as you think or want it to, but it will come to you. I’ve learnt that patience is one of the biggest virtues in, well, everything! I’m a pretty impatient person, however I am always improving on that, and the more I do, the more it shows in my gifting reality.
So yeah, you may not have a lot or think you don’t have a lot, but just buy that coffee for the person behind you next time you’re in line for your daily dose of caffeine. Sidenote, remember, if you think you are lacking, you will always be in lack. Remember to feel abundant, always. Whether you believe it or not, you have to feel it for it to come alive in your reality. I try my hardest to give at least once a day. Now, it doesn’t have to be tangible, either. Things you give away could be as simple as a compliment. I know right? How easy is that! Girrrrrl, love your hair, love your nails! Man, I love your eyes, nice kicks, great smile! Even holding the door for someone is a simple way to get gifts in motion. It all just makes the world go round doesn’t it?!
So start putting some compliments out there, a dollar at a time, gradually increasing as you see the effects and feel the beauty of this place we call home. It’s not hard. Actually nothing has to be hard, it’s what you make of it, of course. Easy breezy, lemon squeezy, right? Let’s start sharing some of that juicy, tart lemonade with a kiss of sugar to our world and to the people around us and continue to serve the lemonade to whoever comes across our paths. Who knows, that person might have been really thirsty, haha. Corny.
Ya’ll are so magical, so beautiful and so powerful. Here’s my cup of lemonade, for you, friend.
Puckered kiss and a Queen wave! Xx
