YOUR LIFE WILL NEVER CHANGE IF YOU DON’T CHANGE YOURSELF

I wish this was easy to process for someone in my family. I have been witnessing on how little this person does for themselves, and it’s extremely sad to see. Sometimes I feel like they just don’t want to be alive because they think that life is too hard, or life is being unfair to them. They live in the past, which is extremely hard to deal with, especially having a conversation where they consistently talk about life events that happened decades ago. Constantly talking about nothing but the past, is very tiring mentally, for me. I wish they could see that with a simple change in their life, it would illuminate the rays of sunshine that are possible to gleam down over them. Disheartening indeed. Repeating the same vicious cycles repeatedly, expecting different results. We all know where that leads to, insanity! They drink themselves to the point of black out, requiring an ambulance, repeatedly. Ambulance rides are $45 now! So those decisions get pricey, alongside the cost of liquor bottles and beer cans.

Your life is what you make it. Until you change your inner self, your outer reality will always remain the same. Personally, I would get so very bored with the same reality day in and day out. We have one human experience where we get to become the best versions of ourselves. Don’t waste it away, trying to escape with addictions or even things that really don’t add fulfillment into your life. We’re going to wake up one day, or maybe not, on our deathbeds wishing we did things differently. Saying yes to those little opportunities, saying yes to invitations, saying yes to new adventures. Life passes us by, and it seems to be going by faster and faster every day. There is no longer any more time to waste. Don’t let your mind, your thoughts, your fears or second thoughts deter or halt you from living a beautiful, easy, most adventurous life.

I must say, it is hard trying to help someone who cannot help themselves. I say it’s tough love; you may call it something else. I personally think that if someone is capable of still being able to live a life where they can go out by themselves, doing everyday life things, they can fix themselves. Nobody is going to fix you, but yourself. We can guide you and give you inspiration, but ultimately you must do the work. I know, work… ugh. No action, no results.

Don’t ever feel bad for not giving someone attention because they’re incapable of their own life. I am currently dealing with this family member who now has been in the hospital multiple times due to alcohol overdoses. I can no longer waste my energy on someone who is not willing to put in work for themselves. You can only try so many times, where you then need to protect your energy and yourself. It’s okay to care, obviously, but don’t let that care get taken advantage of from anybody, not even family members.

This is my diary session for today, releasing what has been on my mind for a few days now. I am now releasing and letting go of these thoughts into the Universe. *blows a kiss*

Your time is precious. Your love is precious. Don’t let any single human being take that away from you selfishly. Xx
