No, not the kind you’re thinking of! I’m talking about the day you wake up and realize that you will never judge someone ever again. That title sounded fitting for me! Because that’s how I felt when I made the decision to never judge a book by it’s cover, ever, ever again.
Now, I used to be a bully in grade school! Now that I look back, I amaze myself on how far I have come as a human being. The jokes I made against others, calling people names, the elevator look when you scope someone up and down for what they’re wearing or what they look like! I mean come on, that just sounds ridiculous to me now. Where did we even pick up this personality trait? When on Earth, did things go so wrong that we feel the need to judge or discriminate against one of our fellow humans because of their skin colour, their shoes, their hair, their everything! Perhaps it’s from the social conditioning, our limited beliefs told to us by everyone in our upbringing. Who knows.
Well, I am here to say to you, that if you ever feel the need to judge someone, take a long hard look in the mirror and say that negative thought you have about someone else, and say it to yourself, because that is ultimately what you are doing, you are judging yourself! I know! Crazy! Your judgemental thoughts that you have against other humans, are your own insecurities about yourself. I need you, right now, to look at yourself and say, “I LOVE YOU”. Give yourself all the compassion, the love and self righteousness without your ego involved. EGO; Edging God Out. Have Faith!
There is zero need for judgement or discrimination against one another. We are brothers and sisters coexisting together to ultimately help each other. I heard this phrase today “Be the light post for someone on their journey back to themselves” The more we support and provide light for one another, I tell you, this Earth is going to shine so freakin’ bright! Shine bright like a diamond, with not outshining one another. We all deserve to shine bright.
You only hurt yourself when you judge someone else. It’s as simple as that. Now I’m not perfect, nor is anyone on this planet perfect. However, you are your own perfection. I need you to embrace that shit right now! I want all of us to walk down that runway and strut our stuff! Together we shine brighter, and the World really needs your light right now.
So, shine on, special Being. Shine on.
